A hands-on role specialising in the servicing, repair and maintenance of commercial HGV trailers. This position is focused on trailer systems rather than vehicle engines. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in doing the job properly and keeping customers safe and compliant on the road.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspecting and servicing HGV trailers to a high standard
- Working on trailer running gear, braking systems, suspension and chassis
- Carrying out greasing, full services and brake testing
- Completing general trailer repairs and defect rectification
- Preparing and presenting trailers for MOT
- Attending trailer-related breakdowns when required
- Changing tyres using workshop equipment
- Using workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly
What You’ll Bring
